The metal support is slightly rusty, giving the painting a warm hue. The artist chose to glue a face, then enhance it with paint, and finally enhance the whole thing with three thin layers of resin. The resin gives the painting a glossy appearance, which adds a touch of sparkle to the artist’s chosen bright colors.
